Michael Ryan is the son of Bettine (Ogilvie) Ryan and grandson of Elizabeth (Isham) Ogilvie. Elizabeth was a sister of Sir Norman’s father Vere Isham–thus an aunt of Sir Ian and Sir Norman–as well as Dorothy (Isham) Schofield–grandmother of Letitia (Waugh) Bason-Leone. Elizabeth, Dorothy, and Vere were the children of Arthur Charles and Evelyn Rose (Selby-Lowndes) Isham, making Michael as well as their other descendants cousins of fellow Lowndes descendants Gerald and Oliver Kingsbury and Lady Lucy French.

Walter and Joan Wood are cousins of Joan, Lady Isham. Walter and Joan are first cousins, their mothers–Muriel and Rhoda, respectively–being daughters of Walter and Amelia White of Vreigevight. Zimbabwean Invitees Unable to Attend
Graham and Pauline Genet are the brother and sister-in-law of Joan, Lady Isham. Graham was the only son and younger child of Chief Inspector Leonard James Genet, BSAP, BEM, and his wife Rhoda Constance White of Vreigevight.

Graham passed away in November 2014. Pauline still lives in Harare where Graham worked as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young.
They were unable to attend the 2013 AAIAA launch, so are pictured at home in Zimbabwe.
Graham’s passing was reported in the Harare newspaper, Bambazonke Nhasi; however, that obituary is no longer available online.
